Totentanz Web Zine 2000. 1. Can you tell us
what your next CD will sound like? Change is indispensably the inevitable resolution of progress, and consequently I believe evolution is also the outcome and condition of 'Make Love, And War'. 'Make Love, And War' is more melodic, more rhythmic and conceivably more 'folk' oriented in comparison to it's predecessors, but nonetheless possible to collate under the conjunct banner of OE/ORE. 2. Who will appear
on this CD? The situation is
such that Ordo Equilibrio is my entity, emerging as a consequence of my
aesthetic yearnings. I will maintain the name Ordo Equilibrio with the addition of Rosarius, as to signify the wedlock between roses and equilibrium; consequently resolving in the designation of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio. 'Make Love, And War' was recorded recently at the studio of In Slaughter Native's, and solely involves the participation of me and my beloved lover and accomplice Rose-Marie. 3. What about your
other two next releases? The appointed video is not merely for the purpose of visualizing one song, but more appropriately a work which involves a selection of songs from all hitherto recordings; and therewith substantiating a complete visual manifest of ORE. The video is currently being realized, assembled and completed in association with video artist Mikael Prey; who also assisting Rose-Marie and me at our performance at the Wave Gothic Treffen on June 12th, and likely due for release later this year. 4. And what about the vinyl set? The vinyl package '4 Life, 4 Love 4 Lust & Roses' will be completed shortly and is consequently due for release, following the release of 'Make Love, And War'. '4 Life, 4 Love, 4 Lust & Roses' will be a strictly limited recording in 444 numbered copies in four distinctive versions, featuring 4 exclusive songs on two 7" vinyl records, all delivered in a hardcover box alongside a photography, a pair of high quality stockings & a dried rose. 5. What do you think
of the works released by Archon Satani after your departure of the band? Mikael is good friend and a seemingly competent musician, but there are genuinely more captivating constellations besides either of his aforementioned projects, but likely less invigorating constellations as well. What Mikael accomplished
following my departure from Archon Satani is fairly interesting. Innana initially originated as a seemingly interesting engendering with the accomplishment of 7Innana7 / Sodom, and thereafter Innana / 'Day of Torment'; but consecutively I believe it all has evolved to become less and less interesting in due course of progression. 6. Is the order of
the Equilibrium something that you have managed to extend outside the
boundaries of your band and of music? I have considered the possibility of extending the boundaries of ORE beyond the sole application of music, and accordingly realize a collateral, subsidiary instrument of grater and direct interactivity farther the peripheries of ORE; but so far this conjecture has solely remained a theory. 7. How did you get
interested in the fetish scene? I sincerely hope and cling to believe that anyone associated to the Fetish scene anywhere wasn't compelled to it by virtue of it's affiliated music, but much rather by reason its affiliated practices as a consequence of realizing an intrinsic preference.... I did not say that
the music in most fetish clubs was worthless, (I suppose Madonna and the
Village People could be occasionally suitable and/or entertaining), but
more appropriately that the music customarily played was dull, thoroughly
unimaginative and unnecessarily conventional. I have as far as I can remember always had an intrinsic affinity for the allegedly unconventional; anxiously insinuated to me by various agitated persons throughout my child and adulthood surroundings; whether the affinity was affiliated to my individual operations or the preferences of my very being. These preferences
have thenceforth evolved alongside the intellectual, spiritual, sexual
and emotional ascent of my being; withstood, and correspondingly extended
throughout my life, and consequently become convoked as customary affiliations
converged with other preferences of my very nature and being. Throughout my hitherto
existence I have come to realize that I enjoy sex. These attractions
and practices are however not a substitute to any supposedly accustomed
and ordinary sex, but more willingly a gratifying extension of the conventional
sexual practices individually appreciated and exercised. 8. Have you ever performed in the context of a fetish event? Unfortunately not. 9. The artwork of
the Ordo Equilibrio CDs were very special among the CMI layouts. 'Reaping the Fallen,
the First Harvest' & 'The Triumph of Light, and Thy Thirteen Shadows of
Love' was designed by Roger but supervised by my directives. 10. You EP "141" is
said to mean "an eye for an eye". The appointed title is 'I4I' and not '141' as innumerable seem to believe, and which farther is an implication of 'Me for Myself' rather than essentially seeking to ascertain the more one dimensional discernment of 'An Eye for an Eye'. Equilibrium is not
necessarily attained in affiliation to the utilization of an eye for and
eye, as I believe balance is a condition of consistency between polarities. Equilibrium can be
the condition of sexual emancipation alongside the tangibility of sexual
frustration. Equilibrium can be
the premeditated projection of disproportion and ambiguity in the context
of harmony. Equilibrium should
however not be the enduring conjecture of being solely for the purpose
of being, which indeed suggests a condition of stagnation. 11. In the same direction, what do you think of the death penalty? Infraction requires
equitable punishment; punishment befitting the severity of the infliction.
Justice is not necessarily or exclusively served by the ruling of an eye
for an eye, but there should nevertheless be conspicuous infliction for
conspicuous acts of needless transgression; acts of serial and multiple
rape should equal death without exception; and so forth. As far as we dismiss the judicial confluence of making transgressors 'run the gauntlet' to retaliate their infractions, I believe the death penalty could serve as an occasionally equitable punishment. 12. In what sense does the concept of equilibrium deal with self-confidence? Are we indeed sure it does, or are we merely sadly mistaken? 13. Apart from obvious sources like Nietzsche, what artists have inspired you? Collateral forms of aesthetic accomplishments have inspired my past, present and future - film as well as photography, photography as well as literature - such as for instance - films by Tinto Bras, Andrew Blake & David Lynch - photography by Richard Kern - and literature by Daniil Charms to mention but a few. 14. The last song on
"The 13 shadows of Love" has a very explicit engaged politics lyrics. I do not particularly
wish to be recognized as a political band as I believe such a categorization
hardly would assist either ORE or me. I wish for the decline of the European Union, as it is solely an instrument of continuing financial gain and further totalitarianism. I wish for the liberation of drugs, as I believe everyone should be permitted to conduct themselves according to their own individual will, determination and desire, and therewith ultimately be responsible for themselves and their individual conduct and misconduct. I endorse sexual voyeurism, homosexuality and any other form of consensus sex, as I believe each and everyone should act voluntarily and sensibly in accordance to their individual desires. Democracy is but the political deception of letting people believe that they possess power along with the power of change. Democracy is a political
justification of integral and individual rape. Dictatorship is unfortunately not an option for me, even though history proves that people easily yields to promises of guidance and alleged compassion of superior authority. Individualism is
the only option. 15. How do you perform
live since Chelsea's departure? The intrinsic essence
of Ordo Equilibrio is I, and I still withstand. I have performed
live once since the incident of Chelsea's departure last year and which
seemingly appeared to be a success judging form ensuing reactions and
critique. 16. When I saw you
live at the second Nights of the Abyss, all the guitars were recorded. I have considered the possibility, but I believe the music I conduct is preferably conceived in association with recorded guitars and the instrumentation of percussion's and song; especially as I believe this orchestration more efficiently renders the atmosphere I venture to attain. 17. During this same
concert in Belgium, there was a girl in underwear on stage who didn't
do anything but sit and take a phallic candle in her hands. Wouldn't I have loved
the situation if she had incidentally volunteered to participate half-naked
on stage? 18. What to do the morning after a big hangover? Drink large quantities of Coke, eat pizza and try to evade the incident of vomiting. |
