1. Compared to the other CDs the new album sounds louder in a certain kind of way. There are clear synth/key lines in the foreground, which dictate a rhythm. What are the reasons for this change?

The reason for any conceivable and supposed change is evolution - evolution being the inevitable resolution of progress and prosperity.

Although I had previously accomplished four recordings prior to the release of 'Make Love, And War', I consider that neither of my foregoing accomplishments are as technically, aesthetically and lyrically complete in comparison.

'Reaping the fallen, The first harvest' was an entanglement of ideas and creativity which befell as an introductory attempt of induction - an ambiguous opus of massive profundity and ambiance; impregnated with the accompaniment of acoustic guitars.

'The Triumph of Light.... and Thy Thirteen Shadows of Love' was it's undivided successor; it's concerted continuation and advancement; leading deeper into an akin well of dismal ambiance and acoustic impregnation, undoubtedly refined.

'Conquest, Love & Self Perseverance' was conclusively the spawning where progression & refinement is most apparent. Ultimately being able to realize a greater quantity of my individual yearnings and creativity, it resolved as the most impeccable accomplishment of ORE thus far; as a balanced fusion of all previously comprised elements more perfectly converged; but however subordinate in comparison to the substance, contentment and completion I apperceive in relation to 'Make Love, And War'.

2. Why did You modify the band's name? Does the word "rosarius" have something to do with the Ordo of the "Rosenkreuzer"? (Sorry, I only know the German word, but perhaps You know what I mean?) Or does the word stand for the rose, which You sometimes use as a symbol for a vagina?

I did not feel any imperative need to change the name Ordo Equilibrio into Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, but as roses is and always have been intimately affiliated to the aesthetic and lyrical essence of Ordo Equilibrio - roses establishing the aesthetic essence on each side of 'I4I' - Among the roses where I stand, torn and scratched disguised by blood, 'The Perplexity of Hybris, I Glorify Myself' - 'Cleft of Stainless Rose' - We stood alone where roses grew, 'Where Happiness Ruled' and so forth; and as my beloved girlfriend Rosemary unexpectedly entered my setting almost two years ago; I merely decided to unite Roses and Equilibrium as to signify the ascent of Equilibrium into Perfection and Balance.

I could have decided not to utilize this particular variation and consequently maintain the name Ordo Equilibrio intact without the incorporation of Rosarius, but as this was something that ensued naturally as a consequence of various incidents, I feel that this alteration does not in any sentient way, change and/or bewilder the orientation and essence of Ordo Equilibrio.

3. Does Your logo stand for the unification of opposites, since the dove could be seen as a symbol for the good, whereas the goat can be interpreted as a symbol for the evil? Does the flame in the middle of the circle stand for enlightenment?

The symbol originates from Aliester Crowley's deck of tarot - the '4 of Wands', and signifies the flames of energy in play, asserting balance and uniting Completion & Limitation through the seeds of disorder.

So your personal understanding of its inherent signification is apparently quite seemly.

4. On the CD itself another circle, including symbols for planets can be seen. What do you exactly want to express by this?

The illustration on the CD is an astrological chart, the horoscope of a famous historical personality. It was incarnated as part of 'Make Love, And War' by virtue of its balance, beauty and subsequent symbolism.

5. Did You reach completion or an inner Equilibrio now, or is that something someone can never reach, since these aims are only high ideals? How is this idea transferred into music?

I have not reached anywhere near completion, and inner equilibrium still awaits to make it presence known. And the possibility to reach such a condition is thus individually relative to the potential of a particular person, and likewise akin to his/her incarnated ideals and objectives.

There is indeed an achievable and preceding condition of completion - experiencing completion by virtue of self-conceit and fulfillment - and a factual condition of completion relative to the accomplishment of realizing one's intrinsic and full potential; an achievement one would certainly recognize at the instant of its attainment.

I strive to impart my understandings through the implement of ORE, and conceivably evoke the desire to change and enlightenment. But whether these ideals and understandings are by any means high I leave up to the listener to ascertain.

6. Is there a certain reason why you sing almost all of the time, since on the older CDs a lot more female singing can be heard?

The condition of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio has changed since the release of 'Conquest, Love & Self Perseverance' in July 1998.

Former female participant Chelsea Krook decided to resign her participation from the constellation by reason of personal disparities, and consequently she is no longer incarnated as part of 'Make Love, And War' and the future operation of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio.

Chelsea's resignation has however been balanced; the girl who participated on stage in Neerpelt Belgium on August 4th, calmly and seemingly unconcerned reading Dostojevski was Rosemary Larsen, my beloved girlfriend associate since almost two years and the recently initiated female constituent of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio.

7. In the booklets You sent greetings to Albin Julius, Peter Pettersson and Peter Andersson. Will there be side projects or other collaborations with one of these musicians in the future? Are all these guys friends of You?

I have so far merely collaborated once, with MZ412 as part of their latest effort 'Nordik Battle Signs' and the song 'Algiz; Konvergence of Life & Death, and I do not feel the impending need to collaborate with anyone particular at all; I believe something as such befalls without unnecessary preparation and motive. But I have nonetheless talked briefly about the possibility of future collaborations with Jouni and In Slaughter Natives, Eric Konofal and Les Joyaux de la Princesse and Peter Pettersson of Sophia. But whether any of these conversations will indeed resolve in anything beyond the incident of dialogue, remains to be resolved.

8. On the 2nd album You referred to the situation in Israel. What is Your opinion about the present escalation? Are there other political topics, You're interested in? Perhaps you have a detailed and diverse opinion about political things, since you work for the TV?

The situation in the Middle East is absurd, on the verge of comical.

Neither of the involved states is more commendable than the other; neither Palestinians, nor Israelis, and what makes the situation so truly and eloquently absurd is that the Israelis apparently consider themselves equitable to employ any measures of excessive force in attempt to defend themselves against stone throwing Palestinians. Assaulting the incensed crowds with fully equipped attack helicopters and countercharging the stone throwing with machinegun fire. A situation evolving to become even more comical considering that the USA, who else are so consistently willing and eager to interfere in any emerging conflict throughout the world, seemingly remains indifferent to the escalating controversy.

The situation of Israel being the fifty-third state of America and consequently under the protection of the American government and the American constitution is apparent, but could it likewise be so that national Jewish interests are influencing the response of the American government, further preventing it from condemning any and all contemporary actions committed by the Israelis?
The situation seems likely, and even more so considering that the US is up for its presidential elections in November, and that it consequently could prove devastating for Bill Clinton and the Democrats if they interfered with the desires of the pro-Israeli American electors, who thus could waver and perchance award their votes to a pro-Israeli president such as George Bush.

Regardless of what the American motives are not to interfere, it is obvious that neither Israelis nor Palestinians are particularly interested in resolving the Middle-Eastern predicament peacefully.

I am likewise interested in the contemporary political climate of northern Europe and the rabidly anti national-socialistic situation escalating throughout Germany and Scandinavia, with is apparent apex in Germany.

A situation which has resolved in the establishment of statutes imposing censorship and impeding the freedom of speech.
A situation having extended itself so far as trying to prohibit particular political parties from being, that perchance could interfere and/or possibly challenge our contemporary democracy, such as the NDP.
A resolution which by no means will discontinue the existence and activity of any political groupings, right wing or left wing, but more willingly impel the appointed constituents for whom these restriction allegedly was assembled and enforced, to assume new appearances and structures.
Consequently forcing them to disappear, but not in the way that it was intended, but merely vanish from political visibility and operate from under ground.
A situation misdirected, and which by no means will discontinue or resolve once the establishment has imposed its restrictions interdicting extremist parties throughout the right wing periphery, outside the boundaries of contemporary political correctness to exist; but more willingly extend. Particularly as the establishment will seek to implement these new and enforced statutes to impede and prohibit any parties or individuals who refuse to submit to the affirmed understandings of the contemporary politically correct establishment, of any ideological understanding.
Hence proclaiming that anyone, individual or party, endorsing any political objectives, neither supporting nor by any means seeking to sustain the contemporary political status are inadmissible.

This is not a democracy; its tyranny by the same means and methods as what they are allegedly trying to prohibit.

Either we accept the traits of democracy a let people decide for themselves according to available and uncensored information; and accordingly let them elect their leaders as well as executioners.
Or we decide in favor of refusing these traits and accordingly refuse democracy.

The decision is told to be ours, but the decision of democracy has truly and apparently already been made, and it is seemingly strange that contemporary political Europe still persists on calling itself a democracy.

The question is not whether or not these enforcements will be abused, but more willingly which political, religious or sexual grouping is next to be curbed, lashed and inquisitioned?

9. Why serves sexual frustration as inspiration?

Fantasizing, envisioning, recognizing, estimating, watching, reading, smelling, tasting and comprehending sex certainly serves as a vast source of inspiration. Especially in situations of not being able to exercise it physically.
Then frustration becomes a materialization by which it is possible to canalize the desires compelled by absence; and let them serve as an instrument in situations of aesthetic and magical workings.

10. Would you describe yourself as asexual?

Asexual suggests frigid, impotent or sexless, as I strongly doubt that you are asking me whether or not I am frigid.

So I consequently believe you are trying to ask me whether or not I consider myself genderless - deficit of gender.

It is seemingly pointless as well as impossible to contradict and/or disown the fact that I am a man - I have the most convincing evidence between my legs verifying that it is indeed so.

But although the situation is such, I still believe it is justified to inflect and diversify the conception of male and female and what indeed establishes each respective concept. As are we merely judged by our clothing? And does a man in skirt instantly assume the appearance of a woman, whilst a woman in a three-piece suit smoking a cigar still resembles the traits of woman?

I am male, my penis cast away the shadow of a doubt, but I do not recognize gender as neither an important, nor determining factor in situations of dealing with people throughout my surroundings.

There are indeed men and women coequally stupid, brilliant, impolite, naïve, frigid, intolerant, nymphomaniac, useless and subjected.
But in the situation of a man deciding to dress in female clothing a man is instantly and invariably recognized as a transvestite, optionally a cross dresser.
But a woman deciding in favor of wearing a three-piece suit won't even raise an eyebrow.

I believe that if we stopped paying such considerable attention to whether someone is a male or female, I believe the world would be a better place.

11. Does the photography of You wearing a skirt and stockings only serve as provocation or is this kind of wear something You really like?

I suppose the concerned photography is the visual attempt of seeing how far particular individuals who claim to appreciate Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, but seemingly are doing so by reasons of delusion and misunderstanding, are willing to extend themselves and their moral values in order to prolong their appreciation.
Perhaps even beyond the transgression of gender roles?

Personally I don't mind dressing in either stockings, heels, garters and/or a skirt, but it's however nothing I practice daily.

12. Is the uniform you and the girl wears only a fetish or does it have another meaning?

Everything portrayed throughout the essence of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio is a direct of indirect reflection of Rosemary and me; of our individual or mutual selves, and consequently akin to all of the above - us, me, fetishism and additional meanings; all of which are incarnated as part of ORE.

13. Do You only have sex in a bizarre kind of way or do You also have sex in a normal kind of way? If so: On what does this depend on?

Asking this is slightly prejudiced; do you sincerely assume that your friends and parents merely have sex utilizing the missionary position since you don't know any better?

Of course not.
Naturally I have 'normal' sex.
The decision of which sort of sex Rosemary and I decide to engage in is naturally relative to the same circumstances of whether you and your partner have sex from behind, standing, sitting, lying, or orally; the particular frame of mind we experience, and whether or not an eventual incentive to engage in more advanced practices is consensual or not.

Assuming anything else is assuming that everything is merely two-dimensional.

14. In Your lyrics one could read the word "enlightenment." Do You mean enlightenment of the mind or sexual enlightenment by this? Do You detest the dumb mass?

You ask me if I detest the dumb mass? But what you in fact are saying is that the mass is dumb, and merely asking me whether or not I agree with you.

I believe the mass is ignorant and evolutionary barren.

It is soulless and intellectually numb; susceptible to any sort of propaganda and promises pledging to bear salvage to its spiritual and emotional deficiency.

Dumb is a simplifying word; the mass is so much more.

One man is a hunter, several establish an army.
A hunter is capable of causing infliction, but an army capable of inflicting so much more. The desires of one man is not enough to inflict the rendering of change onto an entire nation or continent; not without the uniform support and avail of his people; feeding from his bosom, from the creeds and hope which he fosters.

15. The sun also appears sometimes. Is it used in a similar kind of way like the word enlightenment?

The sun is customarily utilized as a symbol of light and enlightenment.
Lightening our surroundings, extracting the dark and abolishing the shadows whilst creating new.
Enlightening us, extracting our understandings, casting away our doubts and creating new.

16. Which war and which peace do You exactly mean?

War against everything that does not provide any meaning, and peace of mind and spirit.

17. Is the CD's title only meant in a sexual kind of way?

'Make Love, And War' seemed as a just and balanced title explicating the requirement of Love and War in order for everything to evolve and endure.

The requirement of War through the concept of creation, destruction and renewal, and Love in order to satisfy and ensure mankind's emotional need for affection, prosperity and spiritual well-being.

The title is coequally sexual to the comprehension of every individual's understanding its meaning.

18. Do You fence with dildos in the hands or with dildos tied around the body?

On the suggested occasion we merely used our hands, but perhaps we'll use strap-on's next time.

19. What are the thorns of our time?

The thorns of our time are the barbs of the modern world.

They establish the crown of thorns that we all are compelled to wear being born of this day and age. And equally to the yarn of Jesus, we shall likewise die for the sins of humanity.

20. In "Passing eyes...." You refer to northern mythology. Is this something You are more interested in? So today wisdom and knowledge does not have any value, since material things and power are more important?

I am indeed interested in northern mythology and our cultural past; the symbolism and signification of the runes, and the sociopolitical history of the north European region in relation to out cultural heritage and the importance it has had in affiliation to our cultural, sociological and political past, present and future.
But regardless of my interest I am merely an apprentice on a quest towards greater knowledge and individual enlightenment.

There is no reason to disavow or disregard mankind's scientific advancements and discoveries.

There are several notable inventions such as penicillin, the telephone, the combustion engine, the atom bomb, breast implants and penis enlargements.
And of course there are notable moments of decisive historical importance such as the realization of gravity, realizing the planetary rotation around the sun, the discovery of new continents, the extermination of numerous rare and endangered species, the founding and conquering of colonies alongside the abduction and enslavement of colonial populations.

The advancements are several, decisive and significant for the evolution of mankind, but even though, it seems as if their significance have been successively overshadowed by the objective of short term monitory accumulation and the possibility of abusing them for the sake of authority and control.

I have no confidence in the leaders of today and tomorrow. And I have no confidence in the betterment of mankind.

I believe we bear witness to a theatre where the blind and leading the blind.

21. "When I see the future, it is ruin what I see....." So You are worried about today's destruction of environment etc?

Worry has transformed itself into acceptance and my understandings of the world is that our civilization's destiny is that of impending ruin; its no longer a question if, merely when.

There is an epidemic situation of intellectual and spiritual decay permeating the world making the possibility of improvement and salvation seemingly impossible.

Mankind's spiritual deficiency has caused humanity to engage itself in a quest for peace and spiritual fulfillment through the utilization of materialism, which consequently has rendered a situation of terrestrial exploitation for the sake of short term monitory motives.

So I am not worried anymore, I am confident.

22. Your utopia paints a subservient picture of women. Did You ever have problems with feminists? Are truth and personal perfection Your highest ideals?

There is no truth and no lies.
Everything can be manufactured to resemble the appearance of something considered true or false; and everything we know and thought we knew is consequently true or false by means of being relative to the individual consideration of conditions and available facts.

Personal perfection however is something I consistently endeavor.
Unless I do my best, I see no reason for trying.
If I do not seek to become myself to the complete extent of my individual potential, why bother being at all.

I believe the yearning and pursuit for individual perfection is one of the highest ideals an individual may maintain and endeavor.

I do not personally conceive the lyric 'Liebe Utopia - On Weaves of Silken Carnage' as being inferior to women attempting to portray them subserviently. But as you apparently have attained such an impression, I suppose you refer to that the lines - 'I long to find Utopia my fatherland unsung; Where girls confined in corsetry prevail beneath the sun. I search in desecration for the stainless and unchaste, For maidens of distinction to undress and consecrate.'

The appointed lyric is a figurative portrait of Utopia according to my individual imaginations and desires.
The ascent of Epicurean society where we manage to salvage ourselves from the impending ruin of today, manage to conceive our intrinsic selves and realize individual fulfillment, where beautiful puissant females dressed in corsets vanquish the inequities and confinement of today, defy the taboos that impede the realization of sexual equality, and become the potential mistresses we were all born to be, and accordingly realize Utopia - a kingdom for the stainless or unchaste, for maidens and Jezebels alike.

That is briefly the nature of the concerned lyric, not by any means an attempt of trying to criticize and/or trivialize the female cause for equals rights and privileges. Consequently making me a feminist I suppose.
